Air Jordan 4 was first proposed by designer Tinker Hatheld as a guard shoe, and was designed based on the idea of lightweight speed basketball shoes. The upper is a combination of leather and nylon mesh, which reduces weight while improving comfort. The midsole continues the previous work and uses a split rear-foot visible AirSole cushion. The shoelace holes and heel tabs are inspired by the basketball net, and basketball is cleverly integrated into the design of the shoe, making the overall shoe body full of fluidity, rhythm and elegance. It was after the launch of Air Jordan 4 that the Air Jordan series was truly recorded in the modern cultural dictionary and became a cultural phenomenon.
